The first professional EV technician certification in Greece
PPC Inspectra provides skills certification for K1 and K2 category EV technicians (M.D. 151639/2023). This certification applies to professional technicians (mechanical or electrical) and engineers (electrical, nechanical, naval, automotive). There is a theroretical and practical exam required to obtain the certification.
K1 EV technician certification
A K1 category technician can identify high voltage vehicles, understand the general struture of a high voltage system, and recognise the associated risks. They are also capable of performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, excluding the high-voltage system, under the supervision of a K2 category technician.
Κ2 EV technician certification
A K2 category technician is trained to interrupt and control the supply voltage in high-voltage systems and secure the system against reactivation. They are skilled in removing and reconnecting an EV battery, as well as performing battery maintenance or recycling. Additionally, they are qualified to safely reinitiate the high-voltage system.
